The Acquisition Process

As your REALTOR, my goal is to ease the buying process creating a pleasant and rewarding experience.

I do that in a number of ways.

First, I recommend properties to view that closely match your desires, within your price range.
This spares  the frustration of visiting homes that aren’t suitable.

I make sure we don’t miss opportunities. When a desirable property suddenly comes on the market, you’re alerted.

I help you schedule viewings that fit your schedule, minimizing any inconvenience for you.

Before we view a property, I provide you with in-depth details on it, so you can have a clear understanding. Two major details we will know beforehand include the closing dates and market value. Following up, we review your questions and I get the answers for you.

I also provide you the characteristics of the neighbourhood, this ensures you get a clear sense of what lifestyles, vibes, and popular places to expect.

When we find a property you like, I give you my honest, professional recommendation, and we will review how it is aligned with your needs and wants.
Our consultations are never rushed or limited.

What We Look for When Viewing a Property

These are the few questions and ideas we will consider when viewing homes to help make the process easier and more productive:

• First we ask:
  • Does the home have your “needs”
    You know, those features you absolutely must have?
    (Ex. number of bedrooms, closet space, kitchen size, etc.)
• Next we ask:
  • Does the home have any of your “wants”
    Those features you’d like to have but aren’t deal breakers.
    (Ex. large backyard deck, spacious family room, etc.)
• We should also ask:
  • What is the general condition of the home?
  • How caring were the previous owners?
  • Was the property neglected or repaired and maintained?
  • Will there need to be any major repairs, remodeling or renovations?
  • What do you like most?
  • Is there anything you’d like to remodel or renovate now or in the future?
  • Is the furnace or any appliance nearing its demise?
• Walk the Walk:
• When we walk around the neighbourhood we will review:
  • The neighbourhood’s pride of ownership
    • Ex. How well kept are the other properties?
  • The properties’ environment,
    • Ex. Are there nearby industrial parks, airports, railroads?
  • Does the neighbourhood fulfill your expectations?
    • Ex. Is it close enough to public transit, shopping, local parks)

Viewing properties is highly enjoyed by many and should never be a frustrating ordeal.
